1.Who we are and what we do

  1. 1.1
Backstock Bazaar is an online marketplace. Brands list RTO, customer-return and excess stock as graded bulk lots. Resellers make offers on those lots or reserve them at the listed price.
  2. 1.2
The sale of a lot is a contract between the brand (the seller) and the reseller (the buyer). We are not a party to that sale. We do not own, store, inspect, pack or ship any stock.
  3. 1.3
We do not collect or hold payment for lots. Buyers pay sellers directly by UPI or NEFT. We are not an escrow and cannot reverse a payment.
  4. 1.4
By creating an account you accept these terms, the Marketplace policy, the Privacy policy and the Grading standard.

2.Your account

  1. 2.1
You must be 18 or older and open the account for a business you are allowed to act for.
  2. 2.2
One account is one business with one role: Brand or Reseller. You pick the role at sign-up and cannot switch it later. To trade on the other side, open a separate account.
  3. 2.3
Keep your business name, pickup address, GSTIN and payout details correct. Buyers rely on them to pay you and to claim GST input credit.
  4. 2.4
You are responsible for everything done from your account. Keep your password private and tell us if you think someone else has used it.

3.Listing stock

  1. 3.1
You may list only stock you own and have the right to sell. You confirm this when you finish onboarding and again each time you publish a lot.
  2. 3.2
Grade every unit A, B, C or D under the Grading standard, state the units per size and colour, and upload real photos of each grade, the cartons and any defects.
  3. 3.3
Prohibited items, including counterfeit goods and used innerwear and socks, are listed in the Marketplace policy. Do not list them.
  4. 3.4
Lots go live after automated checks. A live lot stays up for the duration you chose (15, 30 or 60 days), until it sells out, or until you pause it.
  5. 3.5
You may hide your brand name, show prices only to verified resellers, set a hidden floor price and set resale conditions. Offers below your floor price are declined automatically.

4.Offers and negotiation

  1. 4.1
An offer states a price per unit, the units or sizes wanted and the lot's resale conditions. If the other side accepts it, you are bound to complete the order on those terms.
  2. 4.2
The side whose turn it is has 48 hours to accept, counter or decline. Each counter restarts the 48-hour clock for the other side. An offer nobody answers in time expires.
  3. 4.3
Each side may counter up to 3 times. After that, only Accept or Decline remain.
  4. 4.4
Phone numbers, emails and other contact details in offer messages are hidden until a reservation exists. Do not use the negotiation to move a deal off the platform.
  5. 4.5
When a lot's units are reserved, other open offers on those units expire and those buyers are told.

5.Reservations

  1. 5.1
An accepted offer, or a reservation at the listed price, creates an order with status Reserved. The price per unit, GST rate and commission rate are fixed at that moment.
  2. 5.2
Reserved units are held for the buyer for 48 hours. The buyer must pay and submit payment details within that time.
  3. 5.3
If the buyer does not submit payment in 48 hours, the order expires, the units go back on sale and the buyer's reservation completion rate drops.
  4. 5.4
Both parties' contact details unlock on the order page once the order is Reserved.

6.Payment

  1. 6.1
The buyer pays the exact order total, including GST, to the seller's UPI ID or bank account shown on the order page. Use the order code as the payment reference.
  2. 6.2
After paying, the buyer submits the UTR and a screenshot. The order moves to Payment submitted and the reservation clock stops.
  3. 6.3
The seller checks their account and confirms payment within 24 hours. We send reminders while a confirmation is pending.
  4. 6.4
Payment disputes, such as an amount that never arrived, are between buyer and seller. Keep your bank records.

7.GST and invoices

  1. 7.1
Prices per unit are shown before GST. The GST rate the seller sets on the lot is added to the order total.
  2. 7.2
If a lot says a GST invoice is available, the seller must upload it when they dispatch the order.
  3. 7.3
Each party is responsible for its own tax registration, returns and compliance.

8.Dispatch and delivery

  1. 8.1
After confirming payment, the seller dispatches within the dispatch days stated on the lot and records the transporter, LR or AWB number, tracking link, carton count and photos of the sealed cartons.
  2. 8.2
Freight is paid as the lot states: buyer pays freight, seller pays, or ex-warehouse pickup by the buyer.
  3. 8.3
The buyer presses Mark received when the cartons arrive. If the buyer does nothing, the order is marked Delivered 10 days after dispatch.

9.Inspection and issues

  1. 9.1
The buyer has 72 hours from delivery to inspect the stock and either confirm that everything matches or report an issue. After 72 hours with no action, the order completes and no issue can be raised.
  2. 9.2
An issue can be raised for a grade mismatch, a short quantity, wrong items, damage in transit or stock not received. For grade, the buyer may raise an issue if more than 10% of units are below the declared grade.
  3. 9.3
The buyer states the affected units, adds photo or video evidence and asks for a full or partial refund.
  4. 9.4
The seller has 48 hours to offer a full refund, offer a partial refund, or decline with an explanation. The buyer then accepts or rejects that response.
  5. 9.5
An accepted refund is paid by the seller directly to the buyer, and the seller uploads the refund UTR. The issue is then Resolved.
  6. 9.6
If the buyer rejects the response, or the seller does not respond within 48 hours, the issue is Unresolved. It counts against the seller's scores, and both parties are shown our support address. We do not decide disputes or order refunds.

10.Commission and fees

  1. 10.1
Listing is free. Buying is free. There is no monthly fee.
  2. 10.2
Sellers pay a commission of 5% of the order subtotal before GST, plus 18% GST on the commission. Commission is charged only on orders that reach Completed.
  3. 10.3
The rate is fixed on each order when it is reserved. A later change to the rate does not change an existing order.
  4. 10.4
On the 1st of each month, each seller with completed orders gets one statement for the previous month, as a PDF and a CSV. Pay it by UPI or NEFT and submit the UTR on the statement.
  5. 10.5
Taking a deal off the platform after meeting through it, to avoid commission, breaks these terms.

11.Scores and reviews

  1. 11.1
We calculate scores automatically from orders: seller grade accuracy, issues resolved, orders completed and average response time, and buyer reservation completion rate. Grade accuracy and issues resolved are shown only after 3 completed orders.
  2. 11.2
After an order completes, both sides may leave a review. Reviews must describe that order honestly. Do not offer anything in exchange for a review.

12.Things you must not do

  1. 12.1
List stock you do not have, misstate grades or quantities, or use photos that are not of the lot.
  2. 12.2
Break a lot's resale conditions after you accepted them in your offer.
  3. 12.3
Harass other users, share their contact details outside an order, or copy listings and data from the site with automated tools.

13.Reports, suspension and closing your account

  1. 13.1
Anyone can report a lot. We review reports and may pause a lot, remove it, or suspend an account that breaks these terms or the Marketplace policy.
  2. 13.2
You can ask to close your account at any time. Open orders must finish first. How we handle your data after that is set out in the Privacy policy.

14.Our responsibility

  1. 14.1
We run the marketplace with reasonable care but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors.
  2. 14.2
We are not responsible for the stock, its grade, payment between parties, delivery, or any loss from a deal between a buyer and a seller.
  3. 14.3
Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under Indian law that cannot be removed by a contract.

15.Changes, law and contact

  1. 15.1
We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page. Orders already reserved keep the terms they were made under.
  2. 15.2
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
  3. 15.3
For questions about these terms, use the contact details on the Help page.
